Working today on a series of artworks based on the gardens at Chatsworth. Ive sat in the gardens sketching the views and found starting to became interested in the people walking around the gardens nearly as much as the gardens themselves. I have resisted putting these people in my paintings after one of them thought I was being paid by Chatsworth to draw the gardens. Chance would be a good thing! Its a job I could cope with!!
